time for new pickups!

well, almost

i'm gonna be picking up a squier SG copy in a week or so, and it's gonna need new pups!

some specs on the guitar:
body wood: agathis
neck wood: nato
fingerboard: rosewood
bolt-on, 24.75 scale
...really good woods, right

its gonna be tuned in E (and drop-d now and again), with 12-52's


i don't want too high output of pups, but it'll be used for punkrock :headbang:

what about a set of '59s? the guy from good charlotte uses one in the bridge.

maybe an invader if you're playing punk rock. It's high output, but maybe if you switch out the magnet??

i dont know about mag swapping in the invader, sounds like a mess.
i think a set of 59's might work but you might not like it depending on your amp setup. a custom in the bridge and a 59 in the neck is a cool combo thatll work well for punk but also cover lots of other ground as well
