HI All,
appreciate all advice and opinions on the following change that i'm planning.
Current:
- neck pickup for an Seymour Duncan Vintage Hot Stack Plus Strat STK-S7
- middle pickup for an Seymour Duncan Classic Stack Plus Strat STK-S4m
- bridge pickup for an Seymour Duncan Custom Stack Plus Strat STK-S6

Future:
- neck pickup for an Seymour Duncan YJM STK-10n
- Middle pickup for an Seymour Duncan Vintage Hot Stack Plus Strat STK-S7
- bridge pickup for an Seymour Duncan Custom Stack Plus Strat STK-S6

i'm still looking to get occasionally good clean bluesy tone, but mostly i will be playing with moderate gain (Rock/Metal).
I found myself hardly suing the neck as it is, so considering to make the change. I know YJM's DCR is a bit higher then the rest, but i don't really really on those metrics on 100%. I'm thinking with a right adjustment it can be balanced with the middle one.
Thoughts?

Whats going on with the neck & middle pickups that you don't like them? I dig the YJMs for cleaner bluesy stuff, and I think the S7 would be thicker, with more output. But what do you not like about the S7 or the S4m?
