Tip with iOS Bias Amp/Bias FX or Bias Amp/Jamup - Super portable combo amp!

Ok, so i use Bias Amp, Bias FX, and Jamup XT Pro on ipad and was wanting something portable but decently loud to hook up the ipad to and get a portable battery powered super combo amp setup. I have had an iLoud 40 watt bluetooth speaker for a few years and it sounds decent for a portable, but battery life about 10 hours on it and even though a good design with its ported enclosure and little 3 1/2" woofers plus soft dome tweeters, it just doesn't push air much.

I bought an Alesis TransActive 50 Watt bluetooth portable mixer/amp. It is 25 watt continuous power and 50 peak, so loud like a little combo, has 8" woofer, soft dome tweeter, ported enclosure the size of a practice amp with 1/4"/XLR balanced input on 1, 1/4" unbalanced instrument input on 2, 3.5mm stereo Aux input. Separate level controls for all inputs and a big Master volume knob too. Has dock for ipad/iphone, but not the dock you plug into, just the resting dock. Has a USB outlet to charge your iDevice while amp is on.

Has handle like carry on luggage that telescopes up and can tote along like your suitcase.

Paired with my ipad running Bias/Jamup, it is like the super combo with whatever channels I want because Bias Amp has so many good models and entirely tweakable amplifier components to build your own custom amps. FX added on via Jamup or Bias FX. The 25 watt Chameleon Combo.

Battery life on it is 50 hours! Coupled with ability to keep your ipad charged plugged into USB port, total battery life time jamming probably hits the 25 hour mark. It sounds very good for running amp sims through.

Totally digging the purchase. Made them unbox it and tried it on the floor at GC next to me. Bought after about 20 minutes annoying the GC staff with my loud music and walking around to hear how it projects.

Almost forgot to mention - works great with my pedal preamps too. AMT SS-20 or AMT Legend Series II D2 preamp cab sim out to 1/4" in. I also use it for my Peavey VK II 20MH head that is in my bedroom and use the XLR direct out from the head with speaker defeat switch on. Just roll the Alesis into my room and plug in XLR.
