no good deed... but that could be a fun ax once its cleaned up. those pups probably arent too bad. i had a few charvels with jackson pups, j85 was a good one
No he is still active but this guitar took some heavy gigging abuse and got moved to the back of the lineup where it has remained for a couple of decades.
I got the Charvel back up and running. It was a task cleaning and oiling or every mechanical part, contact cleaner on electronics, and F1 oil on the fretboard before I could do a setup. The guitar plays and sounds fantastic now.
I have no clue what it is, but is is more on the modern side. Not as aggressive as a BW or Dimebucker, but definitely not of the PAF family. It is very clear with high gan with great string separation and articulation.I have practice with the cover band tonight, I might use it for a few songs to break it in a bit for Jim.
