TNT by AC/DC need some help

Hey guys...

I am legally blind and can't read tabs or sheet music, so all the songs I learn, I learn by ear.

I was wondering if you guys could help me out with a part of the song.

I know the chorus goes A5 G5 E5.

As far as I can get, the verse goes

E5 G5 A5 and thenyou bar theA and D strings 5th fret and then bar the same strings 7th fret and then back to the 5th fret. I know that isn't exactly right, but I just cant get that last little riff in the verse.

If you guys could explain it just by using notes that'd work too.

And I've got the outro down.

Thanks for the help, but I dont think that's quite it because thats what I had bbefore, just a different inversion on the end.

I think that the verse goes:

E5 - G5 - A5 - G - A - G (On the low E or 6th string)

add an open E (6th string) after the last G, rinse and repeat :bigthumb:

Not to offend you, but...

If you're legally blind, how do you view this forum? Like, how do you see these responses and respond to them. I'm just curious...

Re: TNT by AC/DC need some help

I have a program called JAWS that acts as a screen reader. I navigate throughout the computer just using key commands instead of a mouse. My disease is called choroideremia. It's a form of macular degeneration. Just throwing in the info so you don't think I'm BSing ya, lol.

If anyone could still help, that'd be great.

I wouldn't think you were. Tabs or sheet music are a better ways to learn songs than asking someone here. I'm sure if you could read them, or if your program could somehow do that, it'd be better.

Sorry that I can't help, though. I don't even know exactly why I looked in this thread. I don't even know how to play TNT. I like it a lot, though. I guess maybe I thought it was something about AC/DC that might've been gear related. I could help you out there, since I know a bit about what Angus and Malcolm use, and ways to get similar tones.

I've tried having the program read tabs but it comes out as mumbo jumbo and it cant read sheet music. I'll just keep on trucking with the ears...

Hello there!
I`v been playing ac-dc tunes for a long time and think i can help you.
One important thing about ac-dc riffs ,make the cords "ring".This can be done by playing REGULAR cords without the notes that makes them major or minor.PLAY WITH A LOT OF ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!!!
