to mod, or not to mod, that is the question

Frito's Better Half
ok, I just got my new old strat today, and it's been 3 1/2 hours, and I already wanna mod it. Right now this is the pickup setup : QP neck/ SSL-6 mid/ C5 bridge, I wanna mod it to either SSL-6 neck/vintage Fender mid/ QP bridge or SSL-6 neck/vintage Fender mid/Hotrails bridge, what should I do? I'm also wanna put a mint green guard on it, and some aged covers and knobs. But should I mod it?

Re: to mod, or not to mod, that is the question

Hell yea, the only time you don't mod anything is when your finally happy with it.

Re: to mod, or not to mod, that is the question

Id mod it, however, Id leave the Duncan Custom in the bridge and just replace the middle and neck pickups. I also wouldnt get a mint green pickguard for the strat but go for it if you want too. How bout a white pearloid pickguard (h/s/s setup) with aged plastic knobs? :32:

Hey, Bean Dip you look EXACTLY like a guy I just graduated with! That is pretty wierd!

Twas modded last night. Different pickguard (a little aged to match the body), white parchment knobs, SSL-6 in the neck, fender in the mid, QP in the bridge, graphtech string savers, another string tree. Plays pretty damn good (for me anyway), I'm starting to think about the QP in the neck, the SSL-6 in the mid, and the Hotrails in the bridge. Whatever I do to it, it needs to be done before the 11th.

Did you really have to ask to mod or not to mod? See my Signature.

Re: to mod, or not to mod, that is the question

yes, cause this one I was kinda worried to do, for some reason or another.
