Nostalgic Distortion

Alright, so over the past few weeks I've gotten rid of some stuff that I wasn't using or just didn't like all that much, tinkering clutter mostly??? A lot of the reasoning behind this whole endeavor was the fact I bought a new MIM Strat with the intention of modding it into a H/S Strat with 1 volume & a 3 way switch, which I've done, a few times now, with mixed results? I'll get back to that after???
So after I got the guitar it was time for puppies! So I ended up buying the guts of a Charvel So Cal, a TB-4 JB, & a Custom Stack? Got everything hooked up to a 500k pot & holy bright!!! The stack sounded pretty good but the JB was unbearable! Ehh, so I replaced the pot with a 250k & the JB sounded better, not great but better, The Custom Stack started sounding kinda dull I guess would be the best way to describe it? I soon came to the realization that I just don't like JB's & probably never will???
So I sell off my JB's & order a shiny new Custom Shop TB-10 Full Shred, unfortunately when I sold the JB's one of them was still in the guitar so I was left with a empty void in my bridge? Being as O.C.D. as I am that bothered me & then I thought, "hay I've got a TB-11 that's just sitting there so I'll put that in until the F.S. arrives"??? Now, by this time, as far as pots go I'd settled on a 300k that actually read over 300k? The neck pickup seemed to like it & the JB was still "OK" but no matter what it was still a JB & not what I wanted?
Okay,so now the guitar has a Custom Stack in the neck and a TB-11 in the bridge running off a 300k pot & it sounds really good but this wasn't a big surprise because the TB-11 has always been my "go to" humbucker when I needed something hotter than a 59B? For me it's always been a "safe" pickup because I know they almost always sound great in Fenders? I know this because I've got a few of them in a few different guitars? Really the whole reason for the F.S. was I wanted to try something different, but now the thing is I've got the guitar sounding great & I'm kinda torn between just keeping the Custom Custom & returning the F.S. or opening up the F.S. & trying it out? I haven't had a lot of luck finding demos or any real feedback about how the F.S. sounds in a Stratocaster? So I guess I'm asking if you were me what would you do? Also if I do use it should I go back to the 500k pot???
So please, anyone who has any experience with the TB-10 in a Strat please chime in & let me know what you think of it? Some pickups just don't like Strat's, others can sound great if they are running off the right pots? Oh, also please tell me whether you changed the pot/pots or just stuck with the stock 250k's as well if you don't mind? I really, really, want this guitar to be done! I've only had it for a month and I've taken it apart a dozen times already! I just want it to be over with!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks for reading my flipping gospel!!! Sorry about how long it ended up being....
