To slant, or not to slant...

I sent out the specs for my aluminum Tele body last week, I still have couple of weeks before it will be complete. I am getting a P-90 route for the bridge, I don't know what I'm going to do with the neck yet. I may just do a P-90 Esquire thing for now. Do you guys think I should get the bridge P-90 slanted like a Tele bridge, or go straight? It won't be attached to the bridge like a regualr Tele. I'm getting a hardtail Strat style bridge. They have an interesting system for P-90s. They machine a solid block of aluminum that attaches to the top of the body (like a mountin ring), and extends into and hangs in the body cavity. The P-90 they attaches to the block instead of the bottom of the guitar. Anyway, what do you guys think of the slant?

I dig the slant. I'm all about the slant. I stand at a slant, talk on a slant, and play guitar on a slant. I just love the word ... S L A N T.

I think it would look sweet that way. If it were me I'd sketch it out on paper or look on the internet to see if I could see how it would look.

the slant may also help get a touch more low end since the E A D poles will be under the strings closer to the neck...and since your dealing with a metal body i think the touch more bass of the slant may be a good idea.

Bass and warmth are not lacking in aluminum. In my experience, aluminum has the most bass response of any tone material I've played. I'm leaning toward the slant.
