Today I Played the Best Feeling Guitar of my Career so Far

Re: Today I Played the Best Feeling Guitar of my Career so Far

I've had that happen.
The guitars I've most liked have been a '63 SG, a brand new SG, a Cort Strat with a Wilkinson trem, a PRS SE and a Squier P90 Telecaster.
The old SG is worth more than all the others combined and I'd take any of them to a gig.

I've also tried Godin Redlines, Prestige RG, USA Jacksons, USA Strats, tons of Les Pauls and a Grover Jackson Washburn too, didn't like them as much as the cheapos I loved.

The only question that matters is... why didnt you buy it? These are the moments you jump on like a starving dog on a cup cake.

Wish I could, still trying to justify the last one.
Comes loaded with Duncan Designed pickups, three in a tele. And a Mini-Humbucker is something I've always wanted to try.

Oh well, it's not my colour. That's what I'll tell myself when I'm trying to sleep tonight.

It would be a dilemma if it was something expensive like an american fender or a gibson, but it's a squier man, you really should grab it!

Play a couple more like it, if they all feel the same you can wait until you find the one that sings, if they're not then sell sth and get it! (not necessarily in that order, 3 times I tried a guitar I really liked and by the time I went money-in-hand I would find out it had already been sold :( )

I played a late 60s early 70s Gibson V 3 times before I spent 3 hours playing it in the store the day that I bought it. Shame I lost that guitar it was a great player. Off white cream color with white pickguard got it for $600 bucks and that was back when they gave you a bag of free stuff for a big purchase.
