Today started very Black & White (...NAD inside).

Today started as a very boring black and white day (...i am on vacation, and there is nothing to do in my town)

Then, just after 1pm, the door bell rang, and my dog ran out of the house to see who is as the front gate.
Turned out to be the courier services, bringing me two boxes.

Once i unpacked everything, my B&W day turned into a trippy psychedelic techono-colour day !

The first pic does look very dreary, even your dog looks right down in the dumps... to the point of being well p1ssed off, I'm surprised he didn't eat the mail man just for something to do!. However, the colour pic is awesome! Enjoy that awesome rig.

BAD TIMING :(

And the amp - what can i say, except - W O W !!!

One of my DREAM 'Top 5 Amps Of All Time' is an (now disc.) Orange Retro 50.
But after plugging into this one . . . that GAS is gonna stay subdued/surpressed for a verrry long time !

Sofar . . . i like it.

The amp has a good 'compromise' in/of tones.

It almost get that classic 70's OR80 / Matamp kinda tones, and it almost get a fantastic modern metal tone.

So, if you want an amp that can do those classic 70's stoner tones and do modern metal, THIS is the amp for you.

It almost get those tones . . . what this amp can do PERFECTLY is Classic Rock / Hard Rock.

In my humble oppion, Orange has marketed this amp completely wrong.
Everyone thinks/thought this amp will out-gain the Rockerverbs, an dthus, be even more suited for thundering modern style metal (i'm thinking of Parkway Drive and the like).
This amp is NOT a metal head.
This amp, to my ears was made for Classic & Hard Rock !!!

Yes, it can do metal . . . but there are better-suited amps for today's modern metal . . . like my much older 5150.
