Toggle Switch Troubles

Hello all! I have a quick question that may seem silly, but I'm new to guitar wiring!

So, I'm looking to potentially wire a 3 way on/on/on switchcraft slide switch as a traditional 3 way toggle switch. If the slide switch is a DP3T, is this possible to do?

Hey as long as it works, sounds good to me! Thanks a bunch for the diagram!

Now, do you know if I could use the same slide switch (with only 2 pickups) to wire it as on/off/on, to select just one pickup at a time? How would this be wired different? Thanks a bunch for all your help

No. Just as you see it is all you need. The other side will be blank.
