Tokai Experts Needed

ok so i got a Tokai GoldStar Sound Guitar. its supposed to be from 1984 but i think the dates say otherwise, but let me know what know about this guitar.

The original Tokai Goldstar came with an accurate Fender headstock outline. The Peavey-esque outline in your photograph tallies with the '88 date stamp. By then, in most territories, legal action forced Tokai to change.

So, to cut a long story short, a nice guitar but not collectible.

Any pics of the pickups and electronics?

Nice guitar. Frank F. Lee has a Tele with the same kind of headstock and, like Frank Lee Himself, it is magnificent.

yea im trying to find out what year it dates to. and yea i like it, it has a nice tone to it. also the pickups are not stock and the bridge isnt stock either. ive heard of orange drop caps on tones controls but this tube like thing on my tone control is something i have never seen. any info on what it is?
