Hi guys.

As you know from my precious for sale thread (do a search), I had the last few Tokai SC-2's available, the Winter 2007 NAMM display guitars.
Well they were fantastic, I sold them all out in no time.

I have the last two SC-1's for sale now, also Winter NAMM 2007 display guitars....BRAND NEW, IN THEIR ORIGINAL TOKAI IMPORT CARTONS.

Do an Google search, there are one or two of these still for sale in USA stores, selling at $950.

There are no more, Tokai Japan designed these specifically for the USA market, but they were forced out of the USA by G**son.

Paypal only, PM for payment and shipping details.
These guitars ship from Clifton, NJ.

I agree, you have to get rid of that JCM900. :)

Buy a Rivera.

My 900 will stop all over a Rivera. Seriously, way better tone compared to a Chubster I have had experience with. Not all 9's are created equal. Some models do sound like dung. The early models (90-92's) are very good.

I do thank people like yourself for keep prices down so I can pick up another one sometime!

Oh, how did Gibson drive out Tokai for those Tele's?

They took them to court over the SC-2's....the SC-1's, the SX and the VX models were all specifically designed for the USA market.
I sold a few of the Superstrat VX NAMM display guitars here as well, then the SC-2's, now the last two SC-1's.

Tokai Japan decided not to fight in court, the costs were too much and Gibson had the resources to go on and on in court.
In the end the North American distributor decided it was not worth the fight.

Hoss

So make me an offer.

Keep in mind, it costs more to make these guitars than the price they're selling for.
TOKAI Japan cannot manufacture these guitars and deliver them to the ex USA distributor for this price.

C'mon guys, don't you know a great bargain when you see one? :)

You'll never buy a guitar of this quality for this price, period.

Re: Tokai: Made In Japan Sc-1 "tele's": For Sale

the headstock (and the fact that I have no money) is killin me. the stock is ugly.

Re: Tokai: Made In Japan Sc-1 "tele's": For Sale

cream

:), some say a Tyler headstock is also ugly, but once you play the guitar it becomes pretty. :beerchug:

Both guitars for $800,00, plus $50,00 shipping.

Thats like getting one at a fantastic price, and the other one for free.
