Hello,
I recently found an H3+ Pickup and was super stoked on how it sounded after I had installed it. However I changed my mind on which guitar I wanted it in so I switched it out. Since then I can not get rid of a buzzing problem when I touch the pole pieces of the upper coil. The lower coil stays silent when I touch it.
I have gone through anything to spot the mistake, I even put it back into the previous guitar which was a single volume control setup. Tried any possible wiring, still getting atleast 1 noisy coil. I also wired up a different spare pickup which worked fine so it can‘t be the wiring or a ground issue of the guitar.
I‘m kinda going nuts since I payed quite a penny for the H3
