Tom Anderson pickups??

Has anyone tried an Anderson pickup? I hear great things about quite a few of his pickups.....I know they are hard to find to test though...

...just curious...

I've only tried the pickups in the guitars themselves, not in another guitar. I certainly didn't hear anything glaringly wrong, tho I, personally, wasn't crazy about the guitars overall.

I own a hollow cobra S with the stock TA p-ups (i forget which models & i'm too lazy to look right now). I really do not like the p-ups. I havnt had the time to play around with the pots and caps to try to coax something i like out of them.

Basically they are too hot & thin for my taste. I like something w/ a creamier, vintage vibe.
