Tommy Thayer JB?

Just picked up what looks to be a Royal Blue JB (maybe Electric Blue?) similar to what Tommy Thayer has used in his blue sparkle Les Paul. Is this a standard JB just with a different color made only for him?

Don't know yet. Just got it in the mail today. I'll be having it installed some time this week or next in a '97 PRS CE24.

The seller said it read 15.90k on his meter. It seems a tiny bit low for a standard JB, but I guess they can fluctuate?

15.9 is within spec. Normally it's 10% for Duncans.

I'd say it's just a normal JB with a flashy color. If it were somethign else, they'd probably label it something else. Not to say that's a bad thing, though.

I have that pair. Came from the Tommy Thayer Epi back in 2017-2020ish. Bridge is a normal blue JB, neck is a normal nickel JB
