tonal diff tween the charvel us pro teles vs reg?

I assume the necks are the same ,but what (or how much) difference is there in the tone of the tele bodied charvel us productions, vs the regular superstrat bodied ones? The teles can be found cheaper and i love those necks. thanks

No two guitars sound the same so it is hard to make such blanket statements but, generally speaking, single-cutaway guitars have more lowend than double-cutaways.

The Tele has a thicker sound with more low end.

I bought a Charvel tele, and it played and sounded awesome, but I wanted a strat shape since the bass side cutaway/horn extends a little further, so the strat balances a little better than the tele. So I bought a beautiful Candy Apple green So Cal body off ebay and transplanted everything.

Same pickups- just different body- and there was a big difference in tone. Everything was more shrill in the Socal body. Maybe I got a bad piece of wood. I want to transplant everything back to the Tele body now
