That's fair then. Maybe you're just more forgiving than I am haha.

Just make sure the multimeter settings are correct. If you have an instruction manual, read it, and for 500K photometers, you can set the range to 1M and a reading of about .500 will mean 500K.

I think you guys are way way off here...

If you read the original post here, you see that he clearly states the problem.
His tone "knob" doesn't work.

The fix is simple, buy one of these.

I think these provide exceptional tone.
