Hey, all...

I was wondering what you think of one of my lead tones. You can find it on my soundclick:

very very nice tone man. i like it a lot. as a lead tone it's awesome. wouldnt want it as a rythm as it's a little bit too icepicky if you know what i mean

I do know exactly what you mean! That's what my thought was too! Since doing that (did it a month or two ago), I've come up with a tone that's much smoother. It's still got nice gain and high-end clarity, but more mids and it's sounds a lot creamier... If I get around to it, I will post a quick little tidbit of the new one...

It's quite cutting, but it doesnt sound bad

I think theres too much prescence on it thats all

And the delay setting is not helping either
Makes it sound abit metallic.

a bit less presence maybe! at the begining of the clip it's a litle bit "metallic" (i think just the high notes)
sounds good - good playing too imo!
btw. I could not imagine how this would sound with rythm. I mean if i hear a solo clip i have no idea how this rig would sound doing rythm

Yeah, I know. My newer tone has less presence and the delay mix is a bit lower. I also added a little high dampening on the delay. Will post clips as soon as I can.
