Goliath of Tone
finaly happy with my tone that i'm gettin now.
got it to the point where it allowsvfor a KICKASS rythm tone and still be clean when you back off (the preset is the total oposite of what i was trying to do earlier.. just the overdrive patch and a cab simulator patch lol).. though the top end is very dry almost clean when picking single notes.. not my concern at the moment..
so, time to record it and see how i can make it work in the songs i'm working on (seriously if i spent as much time with writing/recording, as i spend with twidling the knobs i'd have an album done by now LMAO)
let me know what you think. i had to spend some time EQing it cos the low end was very boomy (ben says cos i shoved the cab into the corner) and with his help i got rid of it, so once i start tracking, it should provide some low end and depth when multitracking... especialy with bens help... (damn you, now i'm gassin for a new mic or three to try out your micing techniques!!! .. and for that i also need a new mixer hahahaha... next stop.. Soundcraft Compact10 :lmao: )
the recording itself is just some fooling around, trying to capture what the two presets can do (or did i play just one) oh well, doesnt matter much.
be on the lookout for a VERY, VERY kickass riff at the very end
