Tonerider Loaded Pickguard - Buzzing

Hi, hoping for some help. Lots of noise in two of the selector switch positions. As far as I can tell, I have it all hooked up according to the company diagram (except for leaving out the capacitor). Anybody have ideas?

You can't leave out the capacitor and have your tone controls work.

Which positions is it buzzing in? Is it when the each single coil is on alone?

Tbh with that wiring job I'm surprised it works at all (no offense meant, my first wiring job was really bad too)
Like the others said, is it buzzing in the single coil positions? Have you used single coils before?
What are you trying to achieve by omitting the tone capacitor? Are you trying to use the two "tone" pots as volumes?
