Also remember the laney probably has a lot better circuit. Laney doesn't build bad sounding amps.
So if you put EL34s in the BV I doubt it'll sound as good. Also... not to mention the reliability issues of the BVs. Your laney is far better suited if you could get it to work for your suitation.
