Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

Everytime Tony will tell some stories from his career, and he will invite guests, and play some of his favourite tracks, plus he'll feature a new unsigned band every week, because unsigned bands can send in demos to him.

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

"Queen guitarist Brian May is Tony’s guest this week on the ‘Black Sunday’ radio show on Planet Rock. Brian will choose his favourite five classic rock tracks and chat to Tony about the reasons behind his choices for the ‘Guest List’ in the last half hour of the show this Sunday (29th January 2006). As always, the 2-hour show kicks off at 7pm UK time and is available to listen online worldwide at www.planetrock.com. Listeners in the UK can also tune in via DAB Digital Radio and via Sky Channel 861, NTL channel 680 or Telewest Channel 924."

I just click "listen live" and then a window pops up, maybe you need flash player, windows media player or whatever, I don't know, there could be many reasons why you can't, it depends on what your problem is.

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

Hmm, I don't know what the problem is, but it must be something with your own computer, because it works fine for me.

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

Hmm, no, I don't know how to do that. But maybe someone here knows??

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

He just started now with AC/DC - Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, it's playing now :beerchug:

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

Now some Queen because Brian May will be guesting him :beerchug:

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

He just talked about Pantera and Dimebag

Sorry that I keep updating, it's just that Tony is my favourite guitarrist, and finally he's starting to get recognised for his big role in metal, with a radio show :D

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

ROFL, tony just told a story from the period where Sabbath were writing the volume 4 album.. They got Bill ward drunk, undressed him completely and sprayed his complete body with gold paint and gold laquor, and then he started vomiting and everything, and they found out that you can actually die from it, because your skin can't breathe, then they called the ambulance etc.. And that's how they got some inspiration for Supernaut and other songs on the Volume 4 album.

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

I'll have to see if the link works for me. 11a.m. over here is a good time for me. By the way, has he mentioned touring to support Fused? He was supposed to after Ozzfest but I've heard nothing.

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

I visit his site and forum regularly, and I receive his newsletters, but I haven't seen any word about the Fused tour yet, unfortunaly, I don't know what has happened.

What a shame, I'd love to see him play some of that stuff, he's a bad ass old mofo :D

What would I have done without him?? ;)

Re: Tony Iommi's Black sunday radioshow

It's tonight that hell will break loose :beerchug:
