TOP best sounding HB sized P90's??

Of the BIG name makers (Lollar,Fralin,SD,Rio,BKP,etc...), which have proven to be the best sounding pup's,,,,
or did I just name most of them?:banghead: I'm looking for a nice thick, but not too overpowering, bridge
pup to match well with some SD Surfs, or something similar, in my strat body?

For me, the P-Rails (even if you hardwired it as a P-90) is the biggest sounding P90 bridge pickup in a HB housing, of all the ones I've played. The Phat Cat often sounds under-wound to me, when used with other pickups. A Phat Cat set, neck and bridge can sound balanced together, and a Phat Cat neck is great with other HB's in the bridge too, but I wouldn't describe the Phat Cat bridge with the word "thick" as you've asked.

Bonus with the P-Rails of course, is that you have 3 other usable sounds to play around with if you decide to include some switching options.

I have a Mullinax Oh, Salvation in the neck of my Epi SG. It's very quiet but muscular, and seems to have more grunt in the low mids than the P-Rails P-90. Love both pups though.

The only ones I have experience with so far are the GFS Dream 900's. I liked them a lot, I am sure there are better ones available... but for the price of the dream 90's I couldn't complain at all. I am usually all for Duncan pickups but I have not tried their famous P-rails yet, maybe someday I will give 'em a whirl.

I'm extremely happy with a GFS Mean 90 set in my Epiphone SG.

From what I've seen here, Mean 90's are pretty popular with the boys and sound like true P-90's; Dream 90's are not on both counts.
