Here's the guitar in question, with a tortoise pickguard. I'm not going to do the guitar builder thing, you all can imagine what it looks like with a white pear guard on it.

To me, this is such an easy question! This looks crappy with tortoise, would look inreible with pearl. Anyone agree?

I voted for the Tortoise, which is surprising, but I kinda dig that layout against the light blue.

Here is my blue Strat with Tortoise. I think it looks great!

rosewood fretboards need dark pickguards. maple boards need lighter pickguards. IMO

I say black... It would be a nice contrast to the cream knobs/pickups, and it would go with the body well.
