I think you all are right. I'm just gonna start saving some cash to buy an '88 when I come across one. I've let a couple of them pass me by, so I hope I'm able to score one when I have the cash. They're extremely hard to come by.

He's fooling himself if he thinks the trade value is equal to the new selling price of his guitar. Keep your gear.

I agree. I just had to get some feedback for my own peace of mind. There's no way I'm letting these amps go for less than what they're really worth.

If you really don't want to keep the SG, why get it in the 1st place?
