Here are some quick specs and a picture:
The Specs:
-Neck through mahogany (three pieces--headstock and two pieces center-jointed for the neck); mahogany wings (one piece on each side)
-Cocobolo fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo stainless steel frets; 16" radius; 25 1/2" scale length; no inlays, but there are side dot markers
-1 6/8" (1.75") nut width; the width is 2 1/8" at the 12th fret
-The profile of the neck back is thin-medium; it's a bit thicker than a Fender modern C in my hands.
-I'm unsure about nut material, but it appears to be bone; the nut isn't the prettiest and hangs off slightly on the left side but that doesn't affect anything. My tech told me to not worry about replacing it, but it's a cheap replacement if you care to do so.
-Satin nitro finish (still curing; it's still a bit tacky to the touch on the body; the neck feels fine though); it could be buffed to a high gloss finish if one wanted to do so.
-Hardtail bridge (not sure what brand, but it looks high quality)
-Kluson style tuners (not sure what brand, but they hold tune well and tune extemely smoothly)
-GFS Vintage '59 pickups; 500K CTS volume pot; Switchcraft output jack; Switchcraft/Allparts three way
-Cocobolo humbucker rings and pickguard; rosewood knob; Cocobolo (looks more like Paduak, though) control cavity cover; Cocobolo truss rod cover
-Dunlop straplocks
-Musician's Friend Vintage (faux) leather case
-7.0 lbs (according to my digital bathroom scale; I cannot guarantee exact accuracy, but the guitar is pretty light.)
What I want:
I know that I'll probably miss this guitar someday, but it's not being played. So maybe it can find it's way to someone else and someone elses neglected guitar can find its way to me. I'm primarily looking for a Tele or maybe a Strat, but will definately consider other guitars as well. Let me know what you got. I'm thinking that a guitar that sells for around $600 used (between $500-700 used) would be a fair trade for this guitar. It'd work out to be a better deal for you, but the trade value of a guitar by a small, not-well-known builder is difficult to gauge.
Contact me by email or by PM if you're interested or have any questions. I have done tons of deals here and on other forums and have perfect feedback on eBay (atomheartmother8888).
