Trade My X2N

I have a black X2N with a long lead and in great condition. It is WAY over the top for me. I'd like to trade it for a 'tamer' F or Trem spaced DiMarzio or Duncan pickup with alnico magnet. Your pickup has to be in great condition too, never tampered with and must be black or white. I'm open to suggestions, I can only say no, right? ConUS only.

Re: Trade My X2N

It is a lot louder and has a MUCH better frequency response, especially with the highs. It sustains better and splits really well while retaining a high powered single coil tone. It can get as dirty and nasty as you want without losing string to string definition and cleans up really well too. Either way, it is friggin LOUD!!

It's a great price but I would have to buy an axe to put it in. Just for kicks, do you think it would pair well with a JB in the neck? I have a baritone Schecter Blackjack with a JB/59 set, but I wonder how it would sound with an X2N in the bridge and a JB moved to the neck. Would they balance well in output in the middle position?

Output wise, they'd definitely balance. As to tonality, the plain truth is, I have never heard this particular combo so I'd only be guessing.
