Transformed Invader.........

I took a invader and removed the two spacer magnets and installed hex screws in both bobbins. I also found out that Seymour Duncan had installed the magnet in backwards. It did have sh-8B on the sticker. I slapped it in a Kramer showster savant II. Wow it does not sound nothing the same. I am thinking about taking out the ceramic magnet and installing some sort of Alnico......

You made it closer to a Duncan Distortion with those mods. If you change the magnet to a Alnico it will probably be somewhere between a Full Shred and a JB. The Invader, JB, and Distortion winds are very similar. Of course, the hex poles will make a little different than the JB or DD, but it is close.

Well, as far as I know they are, but there are some who will disagree so I was trying to be PC.
