I got a Godin LG P90 recently with SD p90s. P90s being P90s, I turn down the volume to clean up the tone when needed. You can get a wide range of tones by tweaking the volume and tone pots. My one complaint was that the tone got darker than I'd like when turning down the volume.
I've done the Kinman Mod as described in this thread
https://forum.seymourduncan.com/showthread.php?t=103682
and am really happy with the results. I wired a .001 cap and a 130 ohm resistor in series between the two non-ground lugs on the volume pot. I couldn't be happier with the results. I recommend anybody with p90s that doesn't like their tone darkening as they turn down.
I posted this because there not a lot of this type of info out there on p90s. Thanks to the OP.
