how much of a differance do you guy notice with regular spaced humbuckers in a floyd guitar i have trem spaced bridge pickups in all of my guitars but one and that one sounds killer . so i was wondering if it was just me

Well now.. I have an Ibanez RG470 with a Floyd rose licensed trem. I have had 3 pickus on it, the stock one, a duncan designed HB-103 or whatever, and a Duncan PA-TB2. After putting in the Duncan, I've never had thoughts of replacing it. It did actually, to my surprise, increase the sustain a bit, and the over-all string balance is better than ever.. So trembuckers sound better to me..

My invader doesnt line up perfectly, but sounds great to my ears, i think there is a difference but only a very small one, far less than say, the type of strings or picks you use.

I notice if I don't use a trem spaced one the string balance sucks and there's a dropoff in bass

It'll work, but I'm sure the magnetic field isn't picking things up as efficiently.
What I've done is just install any regular spaced pickup I have to see if I like it, then buy the tremspaced one if I do. I can always sell the spare, if I don't have a guitar for it.
