Re: Trembucker only used in bridge position?
Trembuckers are most often used in bridge position. But one of my Floydcasters has a PATB-1n trembucker at the neck and it's perfectly OK. And another of my axes has a Fuglybucker in neck position, also trem spaced. Both of them work fine.
I think most conventional trembuckers would work in neck position, as long as you bear in mind that they usually have pretty strong output since they're mostly designed for use at the bridge. But the point is, having your strings perfectly centered over the poles is not as crucial as it might seem.
