3 songs. Some mistakes of course...I'm no pro. After the solo on the second song I stepped on my cable and it pulled out... thats why I dropped off for a bit...also (of course, knowing my luck) right before my solo on the third song, the file got chopped on soundclick cos it was over 10 megs

i dunno if its cause the song is in the background or what, but that just sounds like dead-on old school maiden tone

well thats a tone I just love, one I try to get close to, and my rig is really no different....same pup, similar guitars, and the amp model is there too...800 with Celestion 75s (though dave had a cab with CL80s and Adrian used EVs in another cab mixed with the C75s). The NMV 1987s they used were modded by Peter Cornish, and to my ears sound very much like a 2204.

My old 1981 DT400 was even closer tone-wise...a little thicker/more complex in the mids. The ML with the Schenker Custom is close, but a little too thick and dark. A Super Distortion may cure that tho.

EDIT: I should note the AD15VT is much more dead-on.

I love that clip. Great tone. Good chops goin' there, bro. :bigok:

Stepped on your cable? Run it through the strap and that won't happen. ;)

Re: Tricarusbeast-3 songs in one

Thank you gents :)

Yeah..I generally run my cable through my strap, but for whatever reason, had not when I was recording

The one thing I find that's really good about playing along like this and recording it, is you really hear your weaknesses...what you need to work on. Obviously my timing on the solos is off quite a bit, for example. And of course there are some misse dnotes and whatnot....recording nerves I guess.

At any rate, this Destroyer RAWKS.
