..and I gotta say...it's a Pretty nice lil amp.... 12AX7preamp, & 1-6BQ5 powertube...8" speaker....Gain/Tone/Vol for controls....pretty kickass little amp for the price.....anyone know a good brand that makes good 8" speakers??..I think i'm gonna but it:P

Check out Webers. They make at least 12-14 different 8in. speakers, depending on the sound you want. Vintage, british, ceramic or alnico, plenty of highs, mids or lows, or any combination. check out their site.

I wish they would just make these things with 12" Speakers. Ilike the 5w concept. I hate having to find a cab to use with them that will sound decent

If by How Will you mean How much at my local store they are selling them for $250CAD..wich isn't bad....and I already have some "replacement" Sovtek tubes kickin around.....and was looking into a Tone Tubby 8" Ceramic Speaker....id love to find a good speaker company In canada tho.....(shipping&Customs)...other than that the speaker it comes with is fine......for now:P....will be picking it up within the week I'll post a Review then!!!....as for clips.....recommend what i should do for a setup!!!!(i just got a computer mic and Adobe Audition:P..

How does it sound? I am looking for a low watt tube amp and have been considering the peavey classic 20 or a mesa boogie subway rocket. Of course these are both discontinued and therefore cost a bit more. Something like the royal 8 sounds nice but how does it sound?

I like how they call it a 6BQ5, instead of an EL84. I guess they don't want everyone to immediately think "Vox jangle" when they see the tube complement. Not that an EL84 automatically has to sound like a Vox - I just think that's what first comes to mind when a lot of people see "EL84".
