triple shot rings and nickel covers

I've read that the nickel or crome covered pickups will not fit in the triple shot rings. I have a set installed in my les paul, they fit fine. Anyone else have triple shots with nickel covers?

I've got no problem getting them to fit with no alterations at all.

my SH-2 Jazz has plenty of room for a cover
but the TB-4 doesn't

Only TB covers. Regular covers fit fine.
