i really really love the triple shot rings, and i've seen people cut off most of the ring to work in strats, but with my tortoise pickguard i dont know if i can make it look good. has anyone seen this done with tortoise and white pickups?
Use the black TS. Cut off all of the ring except the top part with the switches on it and just install that part. It won't be noticed on the tortoise pickguard next to a white pup.
that's what i was thinking. i'll do that. i was going to use a 3 way switch to activate whichever coil i wanted, but i wouldnt have been able to do phase switching like i wanted.
