Trouble with Jimmy Page Style Wiring Harness

Ok I installed a pre-made wiring harness from a company. Bourns pots! So far I am not that impressed with BOURNS yet? Any thought on Bourns vs any others?
after installing the wiring harness. I found that the bridge volume pot stops increasing volume at position 9 or close to it. After 9 it seems to get hazy, but from 9 down it works perfact. I guess Im asking, do I really need to replace it? The other thing is when all the push pull pots are down and three way in middle position the sound volume is not just right, but when I pull the bridge tone pot it sounds better and clearier.
I am thinking that the phasing is mess up? Any Thoughts on these two problem (Please)

I Have a Seth Lover bridge that I pickup on the cheap, and looking for idea's about a neck pickup that will match up with it, other then the obvious. I have ordered a Nickel cover for it because it is in zebra now. Most likley going to put this in a Les Paul style body, if that helps for ideas. I have a PG neck and a Dimarzio 36th annv neck I could match with it, but I hate to break up the sets that I have. Oh I do have a GFS dream180 p-90 as well for a neck option.

Thank you all in advance and please be kind. As I dont write posts very often, and dont go out of my way to piss on peoples legs for KICKS

I would like to see photographs of your wiring and pickups.

Unless ordered specially, the Seth Lover model normally leaves the factory with single conductor + braided shield output cable. If your pickup has been modified incorrectly, this might explain some of the unusual goings-on that you are experiencing. (It is my supposition that the four conductor + shield output cable may have been connected up to the start and finish wires from the two Seth coils in the wrong order.)

Bourns get good ratings. Not tried any myself though, so take that FWIW.
Needless to say, any company can make a bad product from time to time, so its not impossible to have got a bad one.

Not sure what you mean by 'hazy'. A lot of quality steady taper pots will seemingly work very little initially. Its also the way that amp compression and our ears work that could be adding to this effect

There is also the small matter of the volume pot lug to which the pickup is connected. Middle or #1?
