True Bypass Looper???????

Hey guys, I gotta question. I have a TC Electronics Nova System and it sounds great, but it colors the tone a little bit, not a ton, but colors none the less. I wanted to know if I put a true bypass looper in front of it, if that would prevent the coloration? Also would a looper work for a multi effect unit? or a they more geard towards seperate pedals? My pedlaboard is simple guitar to Vox Clyde McCoy wah (true bypass) to Ibanze Tube Screamer to Nova back to amp. My cables are, I believe either 18 or 20 feet spectraflex cables. I want the cleanest, truest sound possible. Even if I plug straight into the nova with shorter cables, no other pedals you can still tell a differance in sound. Thanks

You can put it in a looper, that should eliminate any tone loss/changes. This guy: http://www.loooper.com/ makes some great custom stuff.

Bypass loops rock! If you have a few pedals that aren't true bypass, they're life savers. This is a new company, so cost is a bit more reasonable. Not sure if his website is back up yet, but it's very good quality and price.

I had no idea loooper were back in business. They shut down a couple years ago and I assumed they would never be back. I've been using a true bypass loooper w/ tuner out for years now.

i just got one of these http://www.roadrageprogear.com/bigfoot_true_bypass.html and its amazing, highly recommended. just to be clear though, the looper will only help you when the nova is off and out of the loop. if you have it on all the time then the looper isnt gonna make any difference.

Good point, loops are worth it if used right. But if you leave everything on all the time it's kinda pointless.
The best thing about loops is versatility. You can use it for alot more than just bypassing 1 pedal. There is silent tuning, and 2 or 3 channel selection with multiple pedals.
It's a great tool to have in your arsenal.

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on the site, waiting for him to come back. I've used mine for years, I love it. The coolest part is he'll custom make whatever you want, with lots and lots of options.
