Truss rods size of ESP E-II vs Ibanez Prestige

Does anyone know if the socket wrench that is part of the Ibanez multitool, fits the truss rod of modern ESP, the EII to be exact?
According to ESP manual the wrench size is 8mm but my Ibby multitool didn't fit.

Didnt fit or didnt reach?

Some truss rods need deep sockets

Sockets come in three relevant "sub-categories":

1) regular & shallow
2) regular-deep
3) slim-deep

If it won't fit into the channel at all or doesnt reach far enough to bite, you might need a slim and deep socket

All my guitars (except my FranCarvin on which I had replaced the truss rod nut), including two Ibanezes take the same alen, quite common got plenty of them, didn't measure it.
