Didn't care for the Kerry King MXR EQ?

It wasnt really my thing, it was my first time using an eq unit that wasnt on the amp itself. I liked it to an extent, its just that if i can't get a good clean/dirty sound out of my amps, adding an eq just complicates things more for me. It was good for metal tones, but playing with my band i like a smoother, chunky tone, where the Eq always added that 'metal' sound to it, even if i boosted the mids like Slayer does.
