Not the ones I was looking for....but yeah, I saw that. They're pretty inexpensive, so somewhere down the line, I might give them a shot.

Well, there are only what, 5-6-7ish tube factories left in the world.... now, HOW many brands are there?:laugh2:

Realizing that the tubes are "the same" as those available elsewhere is no real feat, regardless of where you go. But depending on where you go you may be getting years of experience and different matching systems that may suit your preferences better or worse

Mojo is a good place to work with. Bought some chinese tubes from them a little while ago. One of the tubes was defective and blew immediately. Called and they made me happy without any kind of fuss. Couldn't ask for better service than there. I've toured their factory and bought many of their speakers. They have good prices and incredibly cool customer service.

Yeah, nothing but good to say about Mojo!!! :bigok:

They screwed up a baffle order & made good on the replacement....atleast I hope; they've been building the replacement for quite a while. I'll have to check with them :smack:

While I really did like the TAD 6l6's, I just wasn't impressed with their EL84-STR's that I got. Seem very sterile and lifeless as compared to my pair of Ei's. I went through 2 sets, the first one having a broken halo.

What's different about the CZ's?

The EI complex shut down a few months ago. EI is now NOS, once they're gone, they're gone.

I wouldn't expect mine to last very long as I run them VERY hard in my 18 watt. Better get some more coming while I can!

I just noticed that most places are sold out of the EI's, KCANOS still has them in duets.
