tube amp general questions

So I've just recently been learning about tube amps as I just got one, so I was wondering how do little things like effects loops plugs and pots change the tone by their quality? like how is a cheap pot and a higher quality pot going to sound much different? and also how does cleaning out the fx loop make amps better and how do you do that?

changing the pots to higher priced ones generally wont change the sound unless the pots in it have a massive tolerance and are way below or above the value they're meant to be.

The thing that does change is the noise floor say if you use a 2w conductive plastic sealed pot (Clarostat, Honeywell) as your gain controls rather than carbon pots such as alpha/cts etc it reduces thermal noise.
