tube layout for the 6505+ combo?

Just got this beast, you guys know were's the V1 and so on. I think peavey has a different layout. After having a Fireball 100 and a 412 cab.The Peavey seem's like a dry edgy distortion, I always change my preamp tubes but im at my girlfriends so Thursday will try a Tunglsol on the V1, v2 EI and so EH and Sovtek LPS should smooth it out. Speakers people seem to change. I like the low end, thick tones but I can taylor it a bit more, Will let you know how it turns out. Still got to try the Gibson Sg and les paul through it:)

I love that amp. So easy to get good sounds out of it, just wait till you crank it.

V1 by looking at it from the front is behind of the input jack?

I had a engl for a few months, it was great and had a 412 marshall cab with greens. I wanted something more portable, things heavy as hell lol. Sounds very full loud, I dig it

Yeah I couldn't believe how heavy it was myself at first. Try running a boost with it yet???

Let me know how you like the tubes,

I have an old boss hyper fuzz that has a top boost on it and have been employing it on the crunch channel, really brightens up the mids.....

V1( behind the input jack) is mostly clean,V2 through 4 lead channel and 5 PI, amp seems a bit smoother now. This amp really rips for a 112, they call it a mini stack because the 112 is enclosed. I guess I need a foot switch then I can use boost feature on the rhythm channel.:fingersx:
