Tube recommendations for 2010 Dual Rec?\

I've had my dual rec (newer version) for about 6 months, I'm just now experimenting with V1 & V2, and wanted to reach out for some recommendations? I guess I'm looking for higher gain, lowest noise possible and some attitude!

Was checking out Eurotubes, looks liked ECC83S's are a fav, any reviews on these?

Higher gain in a Dual Rec? Kee-ripes! Well, try Tung-Sol, EH, and TAD. Any of those should do the trick.

yeah, I know it sounds strange but the way I run the amp, i dont really max the gain out, trying to get some noise out of the equation ;-)

I think of the modern tubes available, the new Tung Sol's have the most attitude. They just seem to be the hot tube right now. There are some NOS tubes that are fantastic, but with a very modern amp like the dual rec and the unique tone it produces, I'm not sure NOS glass would yield the best results for the money.

Also, maybe just some of the 5th Gen Chinese tubes. High gain, low noise and great reliability. Lots of people, amp builders and players swear by them.
