tube recommendations

alright, i went back to the traynor ycv40wr. now i want to TRY to make it as close to a rock/metal amp as i can get. what would you recommend that would give the thickest metal tone? (i already have it hooked up to a stomp box and i get some pretty good metal sounds)

It depends on the t tone you are looking for... can it use EL34's is it a 6L6 amp.. I think that the 6L6 is a little cleaner... I use it for my Triple Rec & I get the clarity for my distortion...
