I stopped off at my fiancee's brother's shop (he repairs amps/keyboards and stuff) on the way home from work on Friday. We shot the breeze for a while and as I was leaving I asked if he happened to have any 6V6s he could spare. I figured he might have a used set of Sovteks or something laying around- so he digs through his box of tubes and pulls out 2 NOS Sylvania 6v6s. He also finds a rectifier tube for me. I asked how much he wanted for them- and he wouldn't take any money for them. This is the same guy who made me take 3 Mullard 12ax7s. Uncle Timmy, I owe you again!
