First time I saw this guy I was in San Fransisco enjoying what was once illegal then with friends at a park when he and some other guys were kind of jammin on a park picknick table , the others were some of the Greatful Dead with some Pignoses heh heh . Then I saw him live later with Patti in a little cafe they we inspirational .

When I was 15 ( 1965 ) I began to buy a album with ever payday I made Did that till sometime in the late to early 80s . Stored about 1500 albums while moving to Hawaii and arranging where to have them shipped , the storage shed here in California was burned to the ground
I miss those great record stores too , they made my day every time I strolled down the isles and was influenced by the art work as I walked and reviewed / perused the latest stuff from all over the world .
