Tuki padded amplifier covers

Re: Tuki padded amplifier covers

I love Tuki padded covers. After messing with HD roadcases, and realizing the extra size, weight, and cost makes them ridiculous, I sold almost all of them off, and replaced them with Tuki padded. They aren't cheap, but they're light, add no size, and you can throw them on the floor behind your amp, making packup a breeze. Also, there's no chance of damaging your amp putting them on, unlike a roadcase top.

The only part of the amp that isn't covered is the bottom, so you've got to be careful, however there's a velcro strap that goes across the bottom.
I have Tuki padded for 2 heads and a 4-12, but I still need to get another one for my Bogner 2-12 cab. I had a roadcase for that, and it made it the same size and weight as a 4-12.....totally ridiculous, so I sold it.

Re: Tuki padded amplifier covers

I have several of the Tuki covers, and for the "Weekend Warrior" semi-pro playing in small bars, transporting his own gear--the Tuki covers are great. I have several. Lightweight, but more protective than vinyl covers.

If I should ever go back to the hard touring of endless one night stands, roadies, big stages, semi-truck full of gear--then everything is going into flight cases!
