Turn me on to a great MIc/acoustic preamp please

Needing something with two channeles, one for voice and one for acoustic. I've heard the little Electro-Harmonix 12AY-7 is an amazeing little unit at its price. I'd like to table this discussion to include units up to 1500.00, the benchmark as far as I know being the famous vintage resissue LA series Tube preamp at that price.Thanks
