Turning Picks While Strumming?

Re: Turning Picks While Strumming?

Something I've just started using is Gorilla Snot. My drummer uses it on his drum sticks and I tried some when I switched picks very recently. I was using Ultex Jazz 2.0's for a bit because they were nice and had a great raised letter that worked as a grip, but I've decided that Tortex Pitch Black Jazz .73's are better for me (faster playing, and better tone). For 6.50 on MF you can get a decent sized amount and you need only a tiny amount on your fingers. The stuff is super sticky so that the pick won't move, but you also have the freedom to roll your thumb forward for pinch harmonics if you need to. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a bit of extra grip from your pick.
